INSTRUCTIONS FOR PASTORS SEEKING RELOCATION
To log in: http://cgmonline.chog.org/ministers
Log in as “Minister”
Click on “Register”
Enter your last name & zip code
When you see your name (others in your family will appear as well) click “register” next to your name only
Then you will be asked to enter your email address and a password of your choice
Click on “Submit”
Your name will then appear on the administrator’s screen and your status will be changed from “new” to “view churches” or another status and an email will be sent to you advising you that you can fill out your information and set up your page of references. You can see what each status means on your home page of CGM Online. This status change can happen in a few minutes or 2 days! With your status you can view open churches but you are not able to indicate your interest in them until you are ‘fully qualified’.
When you set up your page of 6 references with their addresses, phone numbers, etc., please be sure to have their current email address because you will click the “email” button by their names which will allow them to fill out your evaluation online. If they don’t have email, you can print out an evaluation form to mail to them by using the link in the directions at the top of the page where you set up your references.
Be sure to click “save” on each page you are working on – computers are unforgiving!
You have the option of attaching a résumé. Using a Word document, click on “file” and “save as,” then in “save as type,” use the drop down box to select “Rich Text Format,” then click “save.” Now when you copy and paste, your résumé will appear in your online record in the correct and readable format.
When you complete your bio info and your 6 references say “finished” by their name on your home page, contact Joyce. You will be emailed a summary of your evaluations for your approval – and with that approval, your status will be changed to “fully qualified”. That status allows you to click the ‘show interest’ button by churches.
